Through these projects, I have showcased my proficiency in web design, content creation, and digital strategy, successfully enhancing online experiences and fostering community engagement.

Additionally, I have utilised Google Analytics to generate reports, conduct website audits, promote websites, and understand the audience. I’ve also employed various tools for content and publicity, integrating with social media accounts and other platforms to publicise events and information.

Web Development Portfolio Highlights

Youth Group Page
I began by designing a dynamic and engaging Youth Group page for Ilkeston Methodist Church. This project laid the foundation for further digital developments within the church.

Main Church Site
The main website serves as an information hub for members and the local community. I integrated event details, sermon updates, and a historical overview to reflect the church’s rich legacy and mission.

Ilkeston Churches Together
This collaborative platform was developed to unify the churches in Ilkeston. The site facilitates communication and promotes community events, like Easter celebrations and outreach programs.

Expanding Community Connections

Ilkeston Community Page
I designed this page to be a comprehensive resource, featuring event listings, local group information, and a business directory. It also links to specialized sites such as the Ilkeston Fair and Haunted Ilkeston pages.

Haunted Ilkeston
This niche site delves into the paranormal history of Ilkeston, offering resources for enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

Ilkeston Fair
In response to community demand, I developed a website for the annual Ilkeston Fair. The site attracted over 2,000 visitors and received positive feedback for its engaging content and ease of use.

Nottingham City Council: Streamlining Digital Experiences

Over two years with Nottingham City Council, I led a comprehensive content audit and restructuring project. This involved rewriting content, simplifying navigation, and coordinating with stakeholders to enhance the user experience during a major server migration.

In my position, I managed all print projects, including the production of flyers, newsletters, and posters. This entailed supervising the stock and filing system for published materials.

As a contributor to the church’s outreach initiatives, I updated and revised the content on various print materials, sought printing solutions, and utilized photocopying services when necessary. After finalizing the content, I crafted and designed the materials, readying them for print.

To guarantee a smooth printing process, I worked with external vendors to ensure the documents were prepared according to their print requirements. My meticulousness and dedication to quality significantly aided in advancing the church’s mission and activities.

Talent Promotion: (Young Voices Studio)

Talent Promotion: (Young Voices Studio)

From a hobby fan site to a rising star platform, my passion for showcasing talent led me to create the Young Voices Studio website between 1999 and 2007. As the site grew in popularity, it became a gateway for promoting stars in film, music, and talent shows like BGT and AGT.

But that’s not all – I also connected with agents, studios, and even the stars themselves to help promote their work and grow their fan base. The site became a hub for fans to discover new talent, participate in polls and contests, and connect with each other.

Although the original site was dismantled, my dedication to promoting young voices never waned. That’s why I’ve created a new site to continue showcasing talent: http://youngvoicesstudio.esy.es/. Join me in celebrating the next generation of stars!
